What to do

  1. Cover surfaces with newspaper, and you might want to put some old clothes on you and your budding artist.

  2. Put the water and the food colouring in the bowl and slowly add the flour (ask your child to help mix it with the wooden spoon – they will love stirring it around). Soon it will turn into amazing sticky green gloop that your toddler can mash and mould to their heart’s content.
