What to do

  1. Make a regular ham or cheese sandwich, then cut the sandwich out in the shape of a giraffe – making a round part for the head and a long part for the neck.

  2. Now your child can give him chopped carrots for eyes and spots, a cucumber slice smile and pieces of tomato for ears. You could help encourage your child to speak by naming each ingredient as they place them.
