Even a simple old cardboard box can mean a world of play for a wee one. Making a castle together can be great fun for you both - or if your child fancies something else why not try a car, boat or house? Let your wee one’s imagination be your guide.

Square cardboard box

What to do

  1. Remove the tops from both boxes and tape them together as shown in the picture.


  2. Cut out squares from the top of the taller box to create your turret, and let your little one decorate the outside of the boxes. Then create some doors big enough for your little one to crawl through and add a couple of windows at the best height for them to see out of.

  3. Enjoy some play time with your little prince or princess! Let their imagination take you on an adventure.
