What to do

  1. Cut the melon into long thin slices, then cut the pineapple, strawberries or blackberries into chunky pieces.

  2. Help your budding artist to arrange them in the shape of a flower, using the picture as a guide. Why not talk to your child about the colours of each piece of fruit – ‘A pineapple is yellow like the sun’.
