They may look like chairs and blankets to you, but to your kid they could be a castle, a tent, or a secret fort. There’s no end of fun to be had.

What you need

Blankets or sheets

3 or 4 chairs

Developing imagination and creativity

Helps children to play independently

How long will it take?

1 hr

What to do

  1. Place the chairs in a circle and starting with the heaviest, drape blankets over the chairs.
  2. Try tucking in the ends underneath the chairs, or attach them to a doorknob to make a tent. Your kid can then take their teddies in there, read a book, have a picnic, or even take a nap. The hardest part of the game might be getting them to come out!
